A poem on faeries by Neil Gaiman!
So things that have happened! In no particular order:

- I watched The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. It is as gay as I was told it would be, and more. Also, Brad Pitt's laugh scares me forever. Also also, I keep reading that in my mind as 'Robert Frost', which, while admittedly they were around the same time period, I doubt the poet went around killing people. But it was a good movie over all! I loved the cinematography and just the imagery. Also, hurrah for low blood count.

- I have anemia! Not hurrah for that. Three iron pills a day, sigh. But hopefully this will lessen my extreme need to sleep.

- I finished reading Lolita, finally. And moved on to a book about faeries; fitting, I think. But it was good overall. I borrowed the annotated version, and so many references, man. I still feel like I missed something, just because the book is so dense. But on the latter's note, Neil Gaiman poetry forever makes me happy.

- I alsooo applied to UAH. And am trying to contact them about ACT scores. And now need to send out my transcript and get teacher recommendations and talk with my counselor and ahhhhh college stuff.

- The people at Home Depot are really nice. We were looking at Christmas mats and me and my mom each held one up, facing each other, and like three employees stopped and literally went :|a at them before telling us which they thought was nicer. And my air freshener is a night light. So yay~

- I am also considering cosplaying Firefly for Gallifrey One. Still just a stray thought, though.

It is actually one of those matching usernames! Crowley's was exserpens , which means 'of the snake'. Pretty straightforward, really. Azi does love his sword.

Jack Harkness itsthecoat This one comes from a conversation that is had at some point during season one, regarding why Jack was so attractive. It was mentioned that the way he stands, all manly poses and coat flapping in the wind, had something to do with it. Or! This could be complete fanon. I dunno, it's been a year now :|a Either way I am rather happy with it.

Arthur Stanley Eddington scienceandgod This journal was made very soon after watching Einstein and Eddington, and back thn one of the things that had struck me the most about his character was his ability to reconcile both science and religion. Quite a feat, I think, though it certainly helps that he was Quaker. I have learned a lot more about him since then! But it's still one of the main points.

Eddie Nygma/The Riddler whenisa Suggested by Fa-chan when I was at a loss as to what I should use for a username. It comes from his obsession with jokes and riddles, in particular when he asks 'when is [blank] like [blank]?' Pretty simplistic, overall, but one I approve of~

Others

Alphonse Elric kittencarriage This one was suggested by Chii, as were many on this list. This is a reference to the fact that, when Al tries to hide the fact that he's keeping a kitten from his brother, he puts it inside him, essentially become a carriage for the kitten.

Makoto Kubota kubocchi Wild Adapter, the most amazing manga ever that no one will ever read, sob. But anyway, the name comes froma nickname Taki, one of the reporters, gives Kubota, which makes him go '........'. It's essentially a very cute-sounding name, which is something that really goes against his personality, some times more than others.

Niwa Diasuke niwa_artist
James Wilson panty_peeler Suggested by Chii, mostly for the lulz. But it also apps because despite how much Wilson seems to invest hin his relationships, he is a renowned womanizer in the hospital. I am not yet quite sure whether he means to be, or just goes '..oh, well, women want me. Okay' and rolls with it.

Takashi Morinozuka quietbutgentle This comes from a quote regarding Mori's personality, aka why he is a valued member of the host club. It's not exact, as the other one was already taken, but I figuerd 'quietbutgentle' worked well enough. It still describes him pretty well.

Daniel Dreiberg so_impotent Chosen by Chii in exchange for userpics. Which you never did make me, you whore. BUT ANYWAY yes it is pretty hilarious. Also, it fits his sexual activities quite well. Costume fetish, anyone?</div>

Also, in other news; Arkham Asylumwas finished today. As amazing a game as ever, though now I am left with no stress relief. Damn.
Well, first day of school started as horribly as I anticipated.I hate my school's administration forever. Hello standing in line for two hours straight, starting at 6:30 am, and then at least another hour total throughout the day. And still there is one issue left with my classes.

Speaking of, schedule for the day:

8:00 a.m. – 8:57 a.m. Math SL with Brasihier. Missed his class today, so I'll have to pick up my textbook and stuff tomorrow.
9:03 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. English IV with Winsatt. Eeeeeeeeee Winsatt ♥♥♥ He was my TOK teacher last year and was amazing.
10:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m. Brunch! Will possibly used for nap time after all nighters; the band room is good for this *cough*
10:21 a.m. – 11:21 a.m. P.E. with.....someone. You can tell how excited I am for this.
11:27 a.m. – 12:24 p.m. History of the Americas with Mrs. Lara. Sad not to have Sandora, but seems like a good teacher.
12:24-12:54 Lunch. For the record, school food? Completely overpriced. 3$ for a mini Gatorade bottle.
1:00 p.m. – 1:57 p.m. Band with Mr. E. Possibly favoriest class yever?
2:03 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Should be Spansigh IV with Mrs. Henderson. No idea what it actually is at the moment.

There were some fun bits in class, at the very least. Especially English, which really comes as no surprise. Any suck during the day, however, was made up by the fact that I got to pick up Batman: Arkham Asylum today. Collectors Edition, hell yes. Everything is so prettyyyyyy. And the game is amazing and things. In short, I am in love ♥ Possible pics of boxset to come?

So I had an actual update planned for today, but this seemed more fun. Long story short; all homework is done and classes start tomorrow with a screwy schedule.

character; Jack Harkness
character lj; itsthecoat
series; Doctor Who/Torchwood

muse strength; Meh. Sorta up and down, depending on things. I think the new canon definitely helped, though. Will possibly get him more active once I bump him.

cast strength; For Doctor Who cast? Amazingly amazing. I do love you guys~ Torchwood, noooooot quite as strong, but can't really complain either. Definitely wouldn't say no to new players though.

plotting strength; I am not sure, actually. He's easy enough to get into plots (hello messiah complex), but it is a bit of failure on my part that I haven't really been taking that extra step lately. Hoping to change that!

other; Activity, man. He's been the muse that I've held for the longest, over a year now, but I'm sad to say he's been wanning over the past few months. I do have an urge to play him, though! So that should be easy enough to fix.

likelihood of drop; About as likely as my kitties are to ever stop covering my room in fur.

character; Arthur Stanley Eddington
character lj; scienceandgod
series; Einstein & Eddington

muse strength; Strong! It's taken some practice and time, but he's one of my most researched and thus, I feel, most solid characters. It really does help to have an actual historical figure to base him on too, I think, because it gives me a lot more reference to work with. Also, history is my canon, which lends itself to a fairly good number of ideas.

cast strength; Zip. And I never actually expect a cast. But that's fine, really! I think I've managed to work well enough for NPCs. This is not to say that someone apping Einstein wouldn't make me the happiest person ever, but I know better than to really hold out hope.

plotting strength; As yet to be tested. Well, the current plot has worked out well enough, fail!schedules considered. It does take a bit of effort, but I think it's worth it. Hopefully this applies to future plots too.

other; I will one day need to actually figure out dating practices of 20's England. It seems to be the one thing I can't actually figure out era-wise.

likelihood of drop; Zero to none. I loved my little repressed Quaker scientist <3

character; Eddie Nygma/The Riddler
character lj; whenisa
series; DCU

muse strength; Fairly strong, even if it kills be to think of the puns sometimes. But it is surprisingly fun playing a baddie; something I've never done before. Plus, it's Eddie, he's a dork and literally an attention whore.

cast strength; I actually have a cast. How amazing is that for a comic book character? Especially since they are Crane, Harley, and Jerry. Nothing like having your favorite cellmate, female baddie, and crazed psychologist under one roof. -metaphorically speaking, of course. Space and all.

plotting strength; Eddie is quite open about his criminal record, which is possibly a plus. He tends to be interested only in things that benefit him, but fortunately attention falls into that.

other; The puns man, the puns. I feel like I need to reread to get a better sense of his voice, too, but finding new canon is always fun. Also, Eddie needs an excuse to use his door joke.

likelihood of drop; Zilch. Newest muse, after all!

So, twelve days later, trip is now over! I am back home for the first time in two weeks, and it feels really good. Visiting friends was fun, but I actually started getting homesick, especially towards the end.

Early flights and not going to bed means that the first thing I did when I got home was sleep. I also ate after that! And preordered both Beatle's Rockband and the collector's edition of Arkham Asylum. 100 bucks for the latter man, but soooo worth it. 50 page character book and 14 inch Batarang~

I also did a lot of thinking during my break, and I've decided that I am going to seriously pursue Physics as a major. I'd been merely considering it before, but now it's become the choice, basically. This does leave stuff to be sorted out at school, but I don't really mind. It feels nice to have a proper direction.

So vacatio started off.....well. On the way to the airport, we got into a car accident, in which a truck rear-ended us. neither me nor my mom were hurt, by some miracle, but the back of the car has been crushed in. I won't lie, I was a bit freaked. So I had to take a taxi, was late, and got rescheduled to a flight six hours later. I spent the time at the airport, cried at several people, including the poor taxi driver and reception people who had to change my flight.

The time passed surprisingly quickly, thanks to Internet access and a few very appreciated phone calls, and I'd considerably calmed down by the time I landed in Florida. Insurance and car stuff has also been settled back home, which is a huge relief.

Other than that, the vacation has been great. getting to spend time with Ray is fun, and so was meeting his friends. I've bought a few things, including the Life on Mars Season One boxset and an imported version of Elite Beat Agents. I plan ok no more major purchases, though.

Tomorrow, Doctor Who shall be marathoned. We'll see how that goes~

Two more days, and I will be on my way to Florida. Less, really, considering I'm leaving Friday at six am.

Bags have been packed, rooms have been cleaned, and I've already run around trying to figure out what I should take with me. It really is a miracle we managed to fit all those things in just one bag, but then again, I am going to be gone for aboooout eleven days. Five in Florida, six in Michigan.

All I have left to do, I think, is organize my ipod with the proper music to listen to during the trip, and also add a few photos to it to show people.

Edit: Baggage fees are ridiculous. Not only do I have to pay $15 dollars just because I want to load a bag, something that I suspect will be at every flight, but if I go even one bit over fifty pounds, then I have to pay the excess baggage fee three times as well. Next time, I am sticking it to them and their fees and traveling only with carry-on luggage, aka a backpack.
So, last night....

Last night was an epic night, because it involved me taking a sleeping pill tha was apparently already expired.

And let me tell you, was that not an amazing experience, and that's just what I can remember. It was also the reason Kisha posted last night for me! Kisha is the true hero of the story; she spent close to an hour and a half talking me to bed, including convincing me to step away from the computer and not IM people. And the reason I called her in the first place? I felt I could not talk because the motion of moving back and forth on ym chair was epically distracting. Also, my last IMs for the night:

tasogare sage (12:00:33 AM):	*coughs* Oh I see.
Scarecrowfan (12:02:19 AM):	Yeaaah. So I promise you they were no judgemrnysl ellipses
tasogare sage (12:02:43 AM):	Well! Then you can read all that and ignore my sudden nervousness.
Scarecrowfan (12:04:55 AM):	I also think that this would be the point where I should inform you that I took a sleeping before going downstairs, hopng I would have a goodnight's rest
tasogare sage (12:05:20 AM):	*nuzzles* That's fine, dear. I want you to sleep well.
Scarecrowfan (12:07:13 AM):	Yes yes yes yes but the pointof it I think that all the whales should no no the poijt should be!
tasogare sage (12:07:38 AM):	.... *pets* Unlike angels, you can't clear it
Scarecrowfan (12:08:06 AM):	Yes so uuuummmmm
Scarecrowfan (12:08:27 AM):	phone call because of things
tasogare sage (12:08:35 AM):	- Something wrong?
Scarecrowfan (12:09:08 AM):	No! Nithing wrong just...ummm is your dad hoe or should I go cell
tasogare sage (12:09:17 AM):	You can call the house phone!
Scarecrowfan (12:09:23 AM):	okay
Scarecrowfan (12:09:28 AM):	my house phone
tasogare sage (12:09:50 AM):	*hugs* Okay dear.

This was proceeded by me calling and telling her about the epicness of getting up and walking around. At one point I was standing on the edge of my bed and giggling about touching the ceiling. There was also much laughing about a blanket in a corner and blinds that looked like a rainbow.

If you would like to know more, I suggest talking to the person that was sober during all this.

So far, I consider this to be a good day.

I stopped by the bank again with dad, and it turns out that the number was an Employee Identification Number that just happened to match my SSN. I am a little annoyed that the guy could not tell us this yesterday, but at least that's all sorted out now. I even have my account, and my ATM card should be arriving before the Florida trip, which is what I need it for!

And plus, I got five pages of my extended essay written last night. It's a rough draft, and I want to have it done by Thursday, something it seems I might actually achieve~

You know how doing exercise is supposed to make you feel happier, released endorphines and all that? I've done 16 hours of exercise this week. I haven't felt this miserable in a while.

On a very related note, I haven't worked on my extended essay in a week now. Haven't even started on any of my other homework assignments, and still dreading the coming report card.

Sun is supposed to be good for you, too. Betweeen practices in the afternoon and classes at night, I've figured out that it makes me decidedly Not Happy.Seems to give a rash, actually.
